Daft Punk Grammy's

I'm super late to the party but I finally caught the Grammy performance of Stevie Wonder, Pharrell and of course Daft Punk!  When I saw the white helmets I nearly soiled my jammies... not that I wear jammies (on Wednesdays)... ahem.  Awesome is all I could say and ran off to grab my pencil and paper to draw these two! Here is the final version.

Batsy Turns 75

I just realized that ole Bats is 75 years old.  And what better way to celebrate then to draw up a lil' Batman Beyond action.  In the show I think that Bruce is about 75-80 years old so that's why Beyond is a perfect subject for the 75th anniversary!

Shelf (fo') Life

I recently had the chance to do some illustration work for the talented Yuri Lowenthal and Tara Platt, for their extremely hilarious web series Shelf Life ! For those few (not fanboys or fangirls) who don't know who Yuri, Tara and their show "Shelf Life" are… Well you're in for a treat… and when I say "treat", I mean a swift kick to the genitals with the wide foot of AWESOME!
Yuri Lowenthal is known for being the voice of "Ben Tennyson"(Ben 10)  and Tara has played many rolls on TV and Film. She been on shows like Revenge and Hawaii Five-O.
Shelf Life  is a "live action comedy show they created about four action figures on a young boys shelf…" okay I just regurgitated that quote from their web site.  But the show is down right #lolololololololol-ooohhhh!  Season 4 is my favorite!  If you guys get the chance click this link(Shelf Life Series) and watch all the seasons!

Adidaft Punk

Robot DJ's rock!  I've been a fan of Daft Punk since I first saw them on a GAP commercial.  But then I saw the ADIDAS / STARWARS spot and it had everything a fanboy/sneaker head like me wanted to see!

Gotham Gals

Continuing my chibi series for DC comic characters.  I've been wanting to draw these gals for a while.  I've sketched Poison Ivy and Catwoman before but this is my first Harley Quinn.  I hope to do more of them in the future.

Good Wife, a Good Show

I've avoided watching The Good Wife on my Amazon Prime account... And I don't know why?!  So I finally started watching and now I'm hooked.  I just finished 3 seasons in 3 days!  One of my fave characters on the show is Kalinda Sharma, played by Archie Panjabi.  She's hot and kicks so much A$$!  If you guys haven't checked out the show, I highly recommend it... well if you're into lawyer shows.
I decided to do a little fan art to show my love.

Green Lantern Animated Dark Aya

So while watching a DC Nation Trailer for season 2 of Green Lantern Animated, art buddy Dou Hong, pointed out a character in the background.  I'm just speculating here but....  I think that's Aya in black!  I had to do a quick recolor of my "Aya" piece!  She's such a hot design.

Empire Strikes it Rich

I guess George Lucas didn't want to look to greedy so he sold Lucas Films for only 4 billion to Disney... WHHHUUUUUU!  That's Crazy Money!  I have no hate though.  I love both companies.  They brought me Star Tours and Captain EO.  So we cool.
Here's my lil' tribute to both.  Darth Mickey or Disney Vader or Sith Lord - teer.... Can't think of any more Darth Vader / Mickey Mouse combos...

D-Con 2012... Success!

Thanks to all who stopped by the booth and said "hi"!  And a big thank you to all you who stopped by and bought something!  A great Saturday in my book.  I got to hang out with some awesome ole' friends, got to meet some great new friends and sell some art.  Especially was great having one of my best buds sharing the booth with me (TRACY TUBERA).  If you guys have not seen his art just click on his name and check out his website.  You will not be disappointed.
Tracy and I collaborated on a piece that we sold at DesignerCon 2012.  We booth love our childhood cartoons so we did a Voltron (Golion) piece.  It went over well with the old schoolers.  Thanks everyone for making this D-Con one of the best times I've had. Let's do it again next year!  Woot!

Fun With Fan Art

Here is a fews piece I've done in the last few months.  I have a bit more but they're all still in sketch form.  I have to admit... I'm really liking doing all this fan art. From Anime to Hanna Barbera.  I do plan to do a the Gatchaman busts and maybe draw up Pebbles Flintstone to finish off my Hanna Barbera Cartoon Crush set of Judy Jetson and Velma from Scooby doo.  Most of these piece you can find on my online store (KWESTONE Store) if you wanna grab a print for yourself :).  Anyhoo, now I'm prepping for DesignerCon 2012 where I'll have more new art for sale.  So I hope to see you guys there too.

I was watching Hellboy (the movie) a few weeks back.  Just wanted to have some fun with the characters.  Mike Mignola is a genius.  I'd like to draw up the rest of the BPRD when I get a chance but for now,  Hellboy and Abe Sapien... in chibi form.

2 Dang Lazy

Woof!  My blog has been getting neglected.  But now I post!  This long weekend was totally a Lazy long weekend.  A lot of sleeping and watching Fringe (Awesome show by the way)!  But I peeled my self out of bed and finished up a commission piece for Ms. Thu Dang!  Thank you for the commission.
