It's been a little while but today I post! BANG! I finished the rendering on this piece this morning. No, it didn't take me months... just months to start. Started late last night, slept, then woke up around 10 and vio la! I'll be using this lil guy on my Business Cards and Avatars. Hope you guys like!

Thought I'd take a break from drawin' the ladies to do some DC fan art. I recently watched the new Direct to Video animated Green Lantern: Emerald Knights and was inspired to draw my own GL Corps recruits. I don't have names for them yet but I will once I render them up. I know... I know... I still haven't rendered the Bat babes yet. I promise I'll have them all rendered before Comic Con! Ooo! If you guys are going to SDCC come say hi! I'll be at the Squid Kids Ink booth.

I Still Function...

I was inspired by my friend Dou Hong, while I was out in Rhode Island visiting her, to draw a robot. But not just any robot... A robot that "more than meets one eye"! So I decided to draw her as a Transformer animated style. Dou likes Transformers, interned for Hasbro, can draw like a beast, loves pugs and moos on occasion.
So Dou, my friend, this ones for yoos! For everyone else... Meet DOU-CEPTA-HONG!
I also wrote a little bio about my new creation but it's written in a strange form of Cybertronian Text... see if you can decipher it. I also plan to draw up her alt mode, so stay tooned for that!

Woot! A day off means I get to work on some personal stuff. I finally got to work on a skateboard graphic that will go to a certain Filipino Boxer. No he's not my uncle... My uncle plays pool... that's not true... but some other Filipino has an uncle that does that... maybe. Anyhoo, here is a sneak peak at the board graphic. I'll post the board when it gets printed. Enjoy! or not.

Just wanted to share the rough sketch of the piece that I will be donating to an art auction to raise funds for Trinity Care Hospice. Just making sure that my bunnies do their part to Rock Art... for the kids and their families.

Bats Outta Hells Yeah!

So I finally decided to do some DC fan art and put to use some of my newly learned scribbling skills from my gesture drawing class (Big Thanks to my instructor Mark McDonnell ). What better way to show this but to sketch up my favorite Bat Babes... Barbara and Cassandra!
This is just a rough and I plan to add Gotham in the BG... maybe with a moon... and some super sexy lighting, just like Michael Bay or J.J. Abrams... J/K... I don't have any nice lens flare plugins for my apps.
It might take me a little while to render but I wanted to post the sketch up cuz I kinda liked how they turned out. And when that's done I hope to make a Sexy Supes team up!
